I Give You My Heart

Promise of the Day:
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise.

Prayer:
Lord, it is not the sacrifices of animals You want, but me, a broken spirit before You. "Blessed are the poor in spirit." You, Yourself, were given as my sacrifice; now You only want from me my heart, totally and unreservedly laid at Your feet. I am crucified with You Lord. I die daily that You might have total control. Here is my heart, Lord Jesus. I can only offer You my worship and praise, and a contrite heart of thanksgiving. Amen
