God of All Comfort

Promise:
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
Isaiah 40:1

Prayer:
Lord, written in the margin of my Bible of II Cor. 1 is the Greek word for comfort "paraklesis", and that the Holy Spirit is our "paraklete", our comforter. II Cor. 1:3 also calls God the 'Father of Mercies' and 'God of All Comfort'. You were called 'the Man of Sorrows and acquainted with grief'. You understand our sorrows. Now may I in turn use my sorrows, my heartaches, my afflictions, to be able to touch others. "If I can help someone along the way, then my living will not have been in vain." Amen
